My primary intent for this blog is to present some of the basic facts of Combinatorial Game Theory in semi-accessible way. My hope is that, say, CS majors who took a course on discrete math and proofs can get a lot out of this, and that people who haven’t might still learn some interesting things. Also, if you happen to have even more background, it might help you get more out of certain advanced topics.
If you’re new to the field, I suggest you read What is Combinatorial Game Theory? and then check out the links and books or try going to a chapter that interests you via the table of contents. The chronological order of posts may jump between chapters, so you can use that table of contents as a guide.
This is somewhat informal, and is not meant to be a substitute for a course or textbook by any means. That said, I would be happy to answer any questions you may have, and I’d appreciate any comments/suggestions.
